Liner Laminate (often called a balancing laminate or backing laminate) is a thin laminate sheet applied to the back side of plywood, MDF, particle board, or other panels.

Purpose of Liner Laminate

• Prevents the board from bending or warping.
• Balances the tension created by decorative laminate on the front side.
• Provides a smooth and finished back surface.
• Improves moisture resistance compared to a bare board.
